Feeling that I am physically part of a class is<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. not necessary.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. somewhat important.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. very important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">2. I generally<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. get things done ahead of time.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. need reminders, but get things done on time.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. put things off until the last minute.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">3. I prefer to communicate<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. in writing.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. in person, but I\u2019m comfortable expressing myself in writing.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. in person, face-to-face. I consider myself<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. a good reader, able to understand most text material without help.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. an average reader. Sometimes I need help understanding the material.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. a slow reader. I often need help understanding text material.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">5. I think face-to-face classroom discussion<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. is helpful, but discussion via email is equally engaging.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. is sometimes helpful.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. is vital.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">6. I generally prefer to<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. figure out instructions myself.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. try to follow instructions on my own,then ask for help as needed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. have instructions explained or demonstrated to me.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">7. When presented with new technology, I<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a. look forward to learning new skills.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b. feel some apprehension, but try it anyway.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c. avoid working with new technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">8.\u00a0If I have to go to campus to take exams or complete work<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">a.\u00a0I would have difficulty going to campus at any time.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">b.\u00a0I will need to make an evening or weekend appointment.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">c.\u00a0I can go almost anytime.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans Bold';\">Scoring:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Add 2 points for each \u201ca\u201d answer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Add 1 point for each \u201cb\u201d answer.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">Subtract 1 point for each \u201cc\u201d answer<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">\u2022 12+ points: An online course would be a good fit for you.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">\u2022 8-11 points: online learning may work for you, but you should be prepared to make a few<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">adjustments in your schedule and study habits to succeed.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'Open Sans';\">\u2022 7 or fewer points: online classes are probably not the best way for you to learn the material; your chance for success would be better if you enrolled in a face-to-face course.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
